Our Beliefs
Buffalo Valley Missionary Baptist Church is dedicated to serving the community and beyond. Our ministries cater to various needs, providing spiritual guidance and support. We believe in nurturing strong family values and offer programs for marriage preparation, women's ministry, volunteer groups, kids' ministry, college ministry, and pastoral support. Each ministry is designed to foster personal growth and a deeper connection with God, empowering individuals to fulfill their divine purpose.
Statement of Faith
We Believe:
The Bible
The Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the verbally inspired Word of God. The scriptures are inerrant, infallible, and God-breathed and therefore, are the Final Authority for faith and life. This Bible is preserved for us without error in the King James Version (Authorized Version).
God
In one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

God directly created the universe as literally set for in the book of Genesis.
Jesus
In the Lord Jesus Christ as true God and true man; His virgin birth, spotless humanity, vicarious death, bodily resurrection, present advocacy, and His personal, imminent, bodily, visible, pretribulational and premillennial return for His Church. The Lord Jesus Christ died and shed His blood as a sacrifice for the sins of the whole world.
The Holy Spirit
That the Holy Spirit regenerates with divine life and personally indwells the believer upon his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation.
The Fall of Mankind
In the total depravity of man - the fall of man, resulting in his complete and universal separation from God and his need for salvation.
Salvation
That salvation is a free and everlasting gift of God, entirely apart from works; that every person is responsible to receive salvation by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; that a soul once truly saved can NEVER be lost.
Baptism
Life After Death
We practice the baptism of believers by immersion.
In the unending life of the saved with the Lord, and the unending punishment of the unsaved.
